October at the Farm: How many times can I use the word ‘autumnal’ in one long weekend

I love the burnt colors of Autumn, the crisp air, the festiveness of it all. Fall at the farm is cozy and idyllic, and as always, trips to the local fruit and produce stands make for inspired cooking, baking, and colorful photos. Lyme, Connecticut is quintessential New England, and I spent every last drop of this Columbus Day weekend relishing in all its glorious traditions. From Ashlawn to Scott’s and back to our own, it was a cozy, Columbus Day cookfest and a farm-filled weekend.
