Show and tell: Grilled Bruschetta, Purple Potatoes and Chives, and the Magpie in the kitchen

Fresh Howard’s bread on the grill, rubbed with garlic, and garnished with farm stand tomatoes and home-grown basil. Can you smell these from your computer? MM mm good.

Fresh at the Markt: Aunt Joy’s basket of bite-sized potatoes in a variety of colors, garnished with home-grown purple chive flowers, extra virgin olive oil, and a little salt and pepper. Slightly overcooking the potatoes gives them a burst-like sensation when you bite into one, almost like a cherry tomato.
